Yawara Inokuma was created for the comic "Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl<画像：>” 1986 - 1993 by Naoki Urasawa.
Yawara have had a dream to live an ordinary life. But, she had a talent for judo. And Jigorou Inokuma, her grand father had the ambition to make her get a gold medal for judo at olympic match.
On 1989, the comic adapted for the live-action movie “Yawara!” directed by Kazuo Yoshida. Yawara Inokuma acted by Yui Asaka.
From 1989 to 1992, Anime television series “Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl<画像：>” was broadcasted.
On 1996, the comic adapted for anime movie “Yawara! Special - Zutto Kimi No Koto Ga” directed by Morio Asaka.
