Akiko Hoshi was created for the comic "Kyojin No Hoshi : Star Of The Giants<画像：>" written by Ikki Kajiwara and illustrated by Noboru Kawasaki from 1966 to 1971 in "Weekly Shonen Magazine".
Akiko Hoshi was the daughter of Ittetsu Hoshi and the sister of Hyuuma Hoshi. She had watched over them struggling for their baseball, "Star Of The Giants".
